The Great Salt Lake

One of the things Utah is known for is it’s Great Salt Lake. This lake is so salty that the only thing that can live in it is brine shrimp. Brine shrimp are really really tiny creatures that look like wet feathers with google eyes glued on to it. One of these little shrimp appeared to me in a dream and said ” Hey mon, come visit me at ze Great Salt Lake.” So we made a stop in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Next thing I knew, I was sailing on the Great Salt Lake with my favorite captain, Miss Lillian Dumas. We flew over the waves in her 16 foot vessel, named Sparrow. We were going to try to make it to Eardly Spit.  Marcus, Gordan, Miss Bianca, Mom, and Dad had taken the rescue boats over to hang out on the beach.
After a few hours of sailing we stopped and jumped off the bow of the boat. The water is so salty it is impossible to sink. After we swam and jumped off the boat several times, we made the decision to head back to the marina. We sailed her straight in. Thanks Mr. Guy for supervising this awesome adventure.
We had a titanic time on the lake, and I hope to sail again soon.
