At Aunt Jeanne’s house there is a small pond. While we were visiting, it was filled with tadpoles, tadpoles during metamorphosis and full grown frogs. I thought it was an awesome opportunity to study the life cycle of frogs. So I tried to capture ( don’t worry, I released them in the end) one in every stage and put them in jars for a little while to study them. I had a couple accidents, like falling in up to my waste in the muddy water. It took a little while, but I got one of each, then lined them up in order of their life cycle; tadpole, tadpole with legs, froglet and frog.
Did you know that frogs have 4 toes on their front feet and 5 toes on their back feet?
