Early this morning we left Usery Mountain Regional Park, the place that has been our home for the past 4 months. Yesterday and today has been full of goodbyes. As one of my favorite sayings goes, ” If your brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello”. We are now on our way to Sin City (a.k.a. Las Vegas), Nevada. Marcus wants to check out the Luxor again, and I really want to go to Paris. Of course while we are there we have to go to a buffet, we always do. We will probably go to Bolder City Casino. I think it’s the best place to eat in Las Vegas, especially for breakfast. It should be an enjoyable first stop on our way back to Pennsylvania.
Thank you Mark and Lynn, for all the rides to our programs, and letting us help out. Thank you Patti and Keith, for being our neighbors. Patti, you taught me so much. And Keith, you made me laugh. Thank you Patti, Carolyn and Julie, for taking the time to teach my mom how to play cards. Thank you Feather’s, for making my parents job easier by helping them in the beginning. Thank you Dan and Vicky, for keeping the park clean. Thank you Ron, Carolyn, Duane, LaVoun, Jeff, Freda and Ethel and Michael for being the awesome volunteers that you are. Thank you Jason and Austin for help us get Keith all wet. You have all helped to make this one of our best winters yet.
